HTML Frames
Frames in HTML documents allow you to display multiple pages within "frames" on a single page, with the initial page (often called the "framset") being left with no content and just specifying the layout. Since the introduction of CSS and it support across all major browsers, frames have become increasingly irrelevant and are being removed in the next specification of HTML, with the guidance that they should not be used in HTML pages. As such, we have chosen to remove the frames tutorial from this page, allowing us to focus on more modern and accepted layout methods later in the tutorial. If you really have your heart set on using frames (and as we say, you shouldn't) you can find a tutorial here, but any use of frames is at your own risk. The exception to this rule is the IFrame, which is slightly different and will be discussed in the next tutorial.
