MySQL - Backups
Backing up your MySQL Database
In our tutorial on the DELETE query, we mentioned that you might need to restore from a backup, but haven't actually mentioned how you can back things up yet. If you are using PhpMyAdmin, simple backups and restores are simple, you can just use the "Export" and "Import" commands on the from page of your management console. For more complicated databases you may need to implement a more structured backup process, however this is beyond the scope of these tutorial.
